Alain Rondenbosch, an engineer by profession, took an interest in music by learning the piano. He then got a passion for choral music which he discovered in the Brussels University Choir in 1978 conducted by its founder, Robert Ledent, who he succeeded from 1980 till 1985.

He created the Cornegidouille choir in 1996 from a kernel of friends and former singers of the University choir. The new group rapidly reached 20 singers with whom he devoted himself mainly to the interpretation of secular and sacred music from the Renaissance.

He regularly completes his training as conductor by attending various seminars and master classes with Marie-Paule Rémy, Joël Decoster, Yves Wuyts, Xavier Haag, Etienne Rappe and Florent Strœsser.

Passionate for choral singing Alain Rondenbosch is also tenor in the Brussels Royal Protestant Choir and production manager of Musica Vox (promotion of classical concerts)
